Introduction | So I'm a Mrs, a Mother and mostly Mardy. One daughter and another baby due Christmas Eve 2013. Work in the public sector, make of that what you will. Love writing, just need to find more time and structure for it. |
Interests | Music, Photography, Vintage (although, have yet to own anything vintage, apart from a gorgeous hat my friend got me for my birthday and an 80s clutch bag that fell apart, oh dear!) |
Favorite Movies | La Vie en rose, Hope and Glory, Trainspotting, Human Traffic, Labyrinth, (this list is starting to sound awful!), Up, Blow Up, Moulin Rouge, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Long Good Friday, Hairspray (the original thank you very much), The Shining, Smashing Time |
Favorite Music | I think Blur and the Beatles are probably my most favourite bands ever, but I like a lot of stuff in between. A secret penchant for Genesis and Phil Collins thanks to my parent's. Others include, Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Who, Ian Dury, Joy Division, David Bowie, Bjork, Kraftwerk, Bill Haley, Basement Jaxx, Placebo, Air, Hot Chip, Mr Scruff, Groove Armada, Paloma Faith, Lemon Jelly, Faithless, Pulp, The Cure. And I also have a place in my heart for house music, especially mid 90s stuff and some really good chillout. Am starting to like some good big band stuff (great for dancing to) but I need to find more. |
Favorite Books | Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, 1984 by George Orwell, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, trashy chick-lit by Lisa Jewell and Marian Keyes, Most things by Ben Elton, Sorting out Billy by Jo Brand, Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides. |
Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
Well, firstly, who the hell puts pennies in their mouth, that's just dangerous. And surely it has something to do with the pennies tasting like iron, which tastes like blood?
