Introduction	Since my professional goal is to become a good ESL/EFL writing teacher, my academic research has revolved around these areas: teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) writing, second language writing in English, online pedagogy, written corrective feedback, academic literacies, composition theory and pedagogy, best teaching practices, ELT (English Language Teaching), and issues in higher education. Also, I am currently interested in sociocultural and sociopolitical approaches to literature, rhetorical analyses of transnational texts, and international news.
