| Introduction | I'm best known as an educational technology enthusiast and educator with the Prince George's County Public Schools where I am currently a Library Media Specialist at a turnaround middle school. In addition to my role of supporting teachers and students with the use of current and emerging technology resources, I also facilitates school, departmental and district level professional development technology workshops. PGCPS has implemented the use of an Interactive learning suite (board, pads and student response system) to impact student achievement in its Title 1 schools. My most recent educational journey landed me as a candidate in the 2009-2010 cohort in the Johns Hopkins University online graduate certificate in School Administration and Supervision in partnership with ISTE. I internshiped with ISTE on the Leadership Symposium committee. I'm truly passionate about building relationships with educational technology leaders, while engaging in meaningful and collaborative conversations to meet the needs of today's 21st century learners |
