Introduction	Tales from the typewriter world- 1959 to the present day This how long my involvement has been in the world of typewriters. My main interest is in restoring typewriters back to good working order and as close as possible to original condition. I believe that we have that duty to future generations. This obviously excludes re-painting with inappropriate colours unless there is absolutely no other choice. Also, keeping the original keys that came with the typewriter and not some other kind that takes your fancy. Good, bad or ugly, this how the manufacturer of the day saw their machines and we ought to respect that.
Interests	Politics, chess and typewriters. Classical music and the human condition in general
Favorite movies	Cicero, with James Mason and any Ingmar Bergman films. There are lots more but my mind needs jogging
Favorite music	Classical including Opera
Favorite books	I will have to think about that, there is a very long list.
