Introduction Located in Pak chong, Khao yai, in Nakorn Ratchasima province,Thailand, the gallery emphasizes unusual pieces of traditional furniture from Northeast Asia (Korea, Japan & China). The collection of GOLDEN TORTOISE includes chests such as tansus and bandaji, 80 years old or less, carefully restored with materials and woods identical to those originally used in construction. There are also a number of high-quality reproductions pieces, based on traditional designs but adapted well for modern household uses. A custom made furniture service from old solid tropical woods is available as well as furniture restoration and stands making for various works of art. The owners also maintain a collection of original furniture and works of art from Korea and Japan dating back from the 19th Century, which would be of interest to collectors of quality antique pieces. The gallery has a rich selection of wooden objects, bronzes and statues. Photos and details of items can be made available on request. Orders can be shipped anywhere.
