Introduction	My name is Sarah. I am a mother of two of the best little girls anyone could ask for. I've been married for almost 10 years and live outside of Jerusalem in Israel. I made alliyah (immigrated) in 2011. In 2012, I began teaching English as a foreign language and haven't looked back. Teaching is my calling. I love children and I love making a difference. As a child I wanted to be a writer, so I suppose this is my grand fusion of all of the above. In 2023, Hamas invaded and brutally attacked southern Israel with a barbaric slaughter, torture, rape, and mutilation of anyone in their path. I'm writing this mainly as a way for my children to look back and understand what we went through. To understand the trauma and to continue to promise of #NeverAgain . My children are young and do not fully understand the magnitude of what is happening in today's world. One day, when they're older and more inclined to do so... I hope that they read it and look back at a time of chaos, hatred and violence with an open heart and mind.
