| Introduction | With advanced training in biological science, and clinical psychology, as well as experience with the arts and creative process, I bring a mixture of logic and intuition to my work as a psychologist. I studied genetics at UC Berkeley, and molecular biology at MIT prior to turning my attention to the study of clinical psychology. As a result, not only did I develop a disciplined scientific mind, I learned a great deal about the intricacies and complexity of the biological world. This puts me in a unique position to think about the interaction of the physical and emotional worlds. For example, if you are suffering from any physical illnesses, are on medications, or feel confused about which problems are physical versus emotional, I might be in a good position to help you sort these out. Also, if you are a person engaged in a scientific or other creative pursuit I have an understanding of the joys and frustrations of creative work from first hand experience. |
