Introduction I am a beginning farmer and co-owner of HIlltop Community Farm (www.hilltopcommunityfarm.org) where we are dedicated to growing food sustainably and building community. Our farm is a small-scale diversified CSA and orchard where specialize in growing unique varietals of Midwest Fruits. I also work as a consultant and educator, helping further innovation and collaboration for organizations and beginning farmers and as a research gardener supporting Organic seed production research with UW Madison's Department of Plant Pathology. I have a B.S. in Resource Management and Soil Science from University Wisconsin Stevens Point and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Education from Western Washington University. I am a planned opportunist and pragmatic optimist and have always remained a farm girl at heart.
Interests Life long learning, convening communities of practice, ecological agriculture, food systems, outdoors, poetry/writing, facilitation, dancing, soil and scrabble.
