| Introduction | My name is Shannon and I am a special education teacher. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I spent 8 years living and teaching in Las Vegas. I moved back to PA in 2006. My husband, Adam, and I began an Ethiopian adoption process in May 2010. However, due to constantly changing procedures and requirements, the wait became much longer than we ever expected. We switched to domestic adoption in early June 2012, and were chosen by a birth mother on June 29. |
