Introduction I pursued film at NYU so that, when I graduate, with the skills and knowledge that I acquired there, I could make films anywhere in the world, particularly in Puerto Rico. I've been dreaming about making movies for as long as I can remember; just ask my relatives, who'll tell you about the 10-year-old who "dazzled" them with long-winded stories about gargoyles on undiscovered islands and traumatized girls who became gang leaders. It's always been as if I couldn't function if I didn't have a new movie idea rolling around in my brain. There's something about making someone I've never met cry or laugh or ponder or argue or just think, that inspires me to create and to wander into the "what if?". That is why I turned my back on NYC, of all places, and came back home, because I want people to feel something for their home-grown cinema again. Other than that I do Capoeira which has become a lifestyle, enjoy going to the beach, taking road trips, dancing anytime all the time, going to the movies(compulsively) , rescuing stray animals, daydreaming and writing what I dream, and yes, I live in paradise. Envy me.
