Introduction	As a young ham of 14 I took my technician class and passed missing not even one question. The next year, on September 11, 2010 I went and took my General class test. The room was welcoming but with a mellow atmosphere in remembrance. My studies in Extra class have been very rewarding, all I need to do is memorize the various formulas used and I very well will be set. As I thumbed through June's edition of QST (2010), three months late I might add, "A Fan Dipole for 80 through 6 Meters" by W0IS caught my attention. My yard was flipped from his. Without going into detail he got me thinking about my measly 40m dipole that worked with 3:1 resistance.... A few hours later here I am typing this very message. 73 ex-KI6WTX KJ6CEA General
