| Introduction | I've always had a love of walking, but after moving to Suffolk I've done very little. Now the pounds have piled on and the fitness levels are at an all time low, I have decided to bite the bullet and get out there, even if it means dragging the kids, although I've just joined the Ramblers so they may be safe. As the title implies I'm not very good at navigation. Orienteering lessons at school were spent amongst hills I had been tramping across since I was knee high so I paid zero attention during them. I'm so so with a map but if you see someone holding a compass and turning around on the spot...that will be me! I would eventually ditch the compass, say it's not working and wander off in the most scenic direction. Of course I would never have such an irresponsible attitude in an area where this would be unsafe to do so, then I would rely on someone far more sensible to guide me. I also love baking and cake decorating, a much more expensive hobby than walking though! |
