| Introduction | KCLS has been my home for nearly 7 years. I've worked there part time since I moved to Washington. Recently I was lucky enough to become a full time Library Associate (after more than 5 years of part time work, I am loving this full time gig.) Still, I'm longing for the coveted librarian position. Full time, please. But I won't hold my breath. At least KCLS provided me with tuition assistance to pay for school. We'll have to see how things play out. Dare I hope? In any case, I thought I'd share my reference experiences, the books I'm reading, and some of my day to day events in the hopes that these can be helpful to others in the same boat. |
