| Introduction | I'm a self taught artist who paints because I can't imagine not painting! I started around 2004 when an unfortunate (or perhaps now I could say fortunate) knee injury ruined my summer plans and left me with nothing but free time. I bought some acrylics and started experimenting. I soon found my passion with oils and I've been learning from my mistakes and successes ever since. Everything I see inspires me and I'm constantly studying my surroundings to try to discover the hues and values I would use to paint them.
