| Introduction | Trinity United Church of Christ has, since it's founding, been part of the proud tradition of the United Church of Christ denomination, and their emphasis on social justice. Any honest study of our Bible bears witness to Jesus' focus on the poor, the orphan, the widow, "the least of these" His children. The Justice Watch Team of Trinity UCC is charged with educating the church and community on the issues affecting their lives. As we educate, we also develop strategies and tactics to improve the lives of African Americans, and other people, that are often left off, or left out. Our focus is primarily on delivering real justice in the areas of health care, education, the criminal justice system and employment, and fighting racial oppression wherever it arises, throughout the African Diaspora. |
