| Introduction | ~~~~I am a mother, school nurse, animal lover, self-proclaimed perfectionist, control freak, and friend to all. I've had my share of pain and sadness. I have always said "you gotta rise above it." I consider myself a work in progress, as I strive to become a better and more admirable person, and to rise above the thoughts and strongholds that sometimes try to consume me. ~~~~Most all of my blogs are words spoken directly from my heart. They are almost always inspired by something in my life, whether from the past or the present. Many times I speak of things that keep me up at night, the brokenness that I sometimes feel. Somehow, uniquely, God desires to use those difficult moments of our lives to bring forth something extraordinarily beautiful. I have found that it is incredibly therapeutic to write my thoughts down. I hope you enjoy my writings. |
