Introduction	This is a forum for me to share my research on early medieval Northern Europe. I will include sources, but I'm not going to footnote things, so it probably won't be the best source for your own papers, etc. Just saying. I'm a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism living in the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann. What does "apprentege" mean? Well, I'm an apprentice to a Laurel and a protege to a Pelican, hence "apprentege." Because "protice" sounds like a medical condition.
