About me

Gender Male
Occupation Writer, Marketing Professional
Location Whitestone, New York, United States
Introduction I spent ten years working for Marvel as Spider-Man and a host of other characters, traversing North America and Europe, shaking hands, signing autographs and partaking in all manner of crazy stunts from mom-and-pop shops to prominent events. I met famous celebrities, not-so-famous celebrities, sports figures and foreign dignitaries. I received my BFA from Boston University where my classmates included Marisa Tomei and Brad Oscar, and I performed with Julianne Moore and Michael Chiklis. As a comic book industry insider, I’ve written for fanzines, such as Marvel Age and The Comics Buyer’s Guide; trade magazines, like Foreword; and newspapers, such as the New York Post, as well as for newsletters, trading cards, catalogs, marketing materials, scripts and print advertising. My first published comic story appeared in Spider-Man Unlimited #7. In 1997, I created Captain Gravity for Penny-Farthing Press, writing the initial four-part limited series and special one-shot. My marketing and promotions experience began with Marvel and has included Acclaim Entertainment; New York Post; Vertical, Inc.; HarperCollin’s Children’s Books and Newmarket Press.
