| Introduction | Im Allie and I got a heart transplant at Stanford on November 19/20, 2009 after having restrictive cardiomyopathy, a pacemaker, and eventually a dopamine drip. I am 22 years old and before the transplant I was in the last 2 years of nursing school (I will be earning a B.S. in nursing). I had the RCM since I was a baby, but we don't know how/why I developed it. I got my new heart and immediately felt better! I decided to make my blog public because reading other peoples blogs has helped me so I thought maybe this will help someone else. Have fun reading and please comment or email me! |
