Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
Losing a tooth always terrified me when I was little - I was scared of swallowing it, and I knew that I would look terrible afterward. The metallic taste of a penny tastes similar to blood, which reminds you of losing a tooth, as it's one of the few times you also have that taste of blood in your mouth. Needless to say, I don't eat many pennies.
