| Introduction | I am an only child and I have been loved by the most amazing parents for each of my 36 years. I recently lost my father and it has been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. I have the best friends anyone could ask for- without whom, I would have never gotten through these past 7 years. I graduated from Ball State with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Creative Writing. I have big dreams but didn't know how to take a leap of faith. Sometimes I need a friendly push. The push I needed came in a way that I would have never expected- my Dad got sick and I was inspired by the nurses taking care of him. I decided to embark on the scariest of journeys - and became a nurse. It has been the most challenging and one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I try to live my life with no regrets, be optimistic about the future and hopeful that I will be able to achieve all my dreams. |
