About me

Introduction	Now firmly established as the MUST ATTEND event for GPs and practice team colleagues, the conference showcases the latest clinical and policy developments across the UK and brings together an impressive range of national and international speakers. This year’s theme is sustainable primary care - sustainable in having a central role in the delivery of health care and sustainable in terms of playing our part against global warming. In terms of sustainability, Harrogate provides a safe urban setting – with easy walking from hotels to conference centre, the event will use locally sourced food, delegates will be encouraged to use public transport and participate in car sharing schemes, a policy to limit printing and use electronic media plus the use of eco materials will contribute to the first ever low-carbon footprint RCGP Conference. The College will be setting a benchmark for the future.
