| Introduction | I started as an instructional designer working on elearning projects. Somewhere along the way I became part of HR, responsible for expertise development. Through this evolution, I always wondered how all these little pieces of learning intervention add up. What's the big picture and are these random pieces even making sense? Are we really helping people get somewhere? Helping them evolve? Helping organizations evolve? So, I decided to do some research and experiment a bit. This blog focuses on expertise. What it is and how it can be developed. But also how we can translate theory into practice. How instructional design can help develop solutions to turn expertise development strategies into reality. |
