IntroductionI love competition, that's why I grew up playing sports and why I love the business world; especially marketing. In football, games are often won before the players show up to Saturday or Sunday. Games are won during the week in practice and in the film room where the coaches will put together an airtight strategy. And so too this is true in marketing. Marketing strategy has to drive the execution into the field of play where brands compete for consumers with limited dollars. Who wins on Saturdays? Is it always the team that looks the best? No. It's the team that has the best strategy and can execute properly. Same holds true in marketing. Award-winning advertising might make your agency popular at cocktail parties, but if it fails to help you win (sell more stuff than your competition) then it doesn't matter. We're here to help you win!
