| Introduction | I'm someone who has written off and on for years and finally got serious and decided to blog. I must confess you will sense my ADD with how I write and my thoughts on various things, but at least I'm getting them out there. My blogs will consist of my adventures in relocating from suburbia and a town of 30,000 to living in the woods where the nearest town has 2,700 people. I will share my attempts at homemaking (cooking, cleaning, sewing, you know, the whole sha - bang) and my efforts in trying to establish an art studio and business teaching art privately after having taught 70+ hour work weeks for 8 years at a school with 2700 students. | Favorite music | If I butchered their names, SORRY: The online videos and music clips of Jinkx Monsoon, the AMAZING Seattle based drag queen; Damien Rice, Imogene Heap, Marina and the Diamonds, Gotye, Deathcab for Cutie, Muse, Florence and the Machine, Cake, Primus, Weezer, Dave Matthews (only when I want to be nostalgic....I DID go to college in the late '90's), Adele, Amy Winehouse, Johnny Cash, I'll add more later..... |
| Favorite books | LOVED:"The Girls Who Went Away", "The Other Woman", "Our Mothers' War", "Sex With Kings", "Lucky","Candy Girl", "Mommy Wars", LIKED:"Not in Kansas Anymore", "My Horizontal Life","Are you there Vodka? It's me, Chelsea", "A Boy Named Tommy" or "Tommy"....its' ok but I mainly read it because it was written by one of my favorite male actors Allan Cumming. |
