Introduction	hCG is my payback; my bid for one more shot at life. In November 2006 my heart stopped; a blockage stopped my clock and for 13-minutes my world stood still. I felt nothing, nor would I know the swirl of activity around me... I died that night, for all intents and purposes. An AED (automated external defibrillator)sparked me back into the world I was not ready to leave. Ten zaps and a slap from the good Lord above. Like AAA Road Service jumping a flat-lined '55 VW, I came back. My dad had died at 52, leaving behind a brood of 13 kids, the youngest only 4 years old. This gentle Marine had survived a Great Depression, a World War, and now thirteen children that adored him... but he couldn't beat his calling that December nightjust two weeks after my 16th birthday. And there I lay, alive again by the grace of God. He whispered in my ear... "can you hear ME now, can you hear ME now...?" I Heard. Lord willing I hope to beat the odds once more. I've struggled to loose just 25 pounds since 2006. At just a pound a month I fear I will never see age 60, nor a single grandchild. I must make this happen fast. hCG, self discipline and hard work. 100 pounds. Watch me !
