| Introduction | I'm Marillion and I want to use this blog to write about my academic and personal development, knitting, baking, reading and anything that interests me. I see it as an opportunity to become more confident and comfortable with writing and presenting my thoughts, hopefully in a coherent way, to other people. I start this blog during a weird and wonderful time of my life where I have just changed my career and moved out of the private sector to establish a new career in research, with my PhD being the first step. I am also about to move to a new city right on the sea where I will hopefully meet lots of great people. I'll try not to ramble too much. After all, it's not like we've got nothing else to do, right? |
