| Introduction | ive always loved to create things! When I was 15 years old, i suddenly had the urge to do a little embroidery on my jeans with a little thread and sewing needle and was totally hooked ever since! I gradually went from decorating my clothes to stitching on a loop. It became an all consuming passion! I later found out that my granmothers mother was famous in her days as an embroiderer in Iceland.(my mom is from Iceland,)I use ordinary sewing thread and needle, and use only one stitch.The chain stitch.The stitches are very tiny and tight, which makes it very time consuming! (about one hour per square inch.)In 2002, I was in a car wreck which has disabled me. I have all the time in the world to stitch and create! |
