| Introduction | Dr. Emmanouill G. Petrou was born in Piraeus in 1977. After receiving his Medical Degree, he completed the specialty of Cardiology, and earned a Master’s Degree in Health Management. He is also a PhD Candidate at the University of Athens Medical School. He has worked as an investigator in various international clinical trials. He is the author of numerous scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and has participated as an invited speaker in a series of national and international scientific congresses. He also serves as a Reviewer and an Editorial Board Member in a series of medical journals. He speaks English, French, German and Czech. He started his professional career as a private practice physician and subsequently works in the Greek and international pharmaceutical industry. Member of the Heraldic and Genealogical Society of Greece, the International Association of Amateur Heralds (IAAH), the Panhellenic Numismatic Association, and the Friends of the Numismatic Museum Association, philatelist, and collector, he has also been involved in historical, genealogical and heraldic research. His writings revolve around these areas of his interests. |
