Introduction	I'm not... the mom with perfectly behaved kids, beautiful make-up, stellar cooking skills who loves TV, movies, shopping and having my hair done. This blog is mostly about my girls- one of whom is highly capable, and if you have a kid like that you know that you'll have an easier time discussing what you cleaned out of the inside of your sink than discussing the challenges of parenting a gifted kiddo! The other is ultra-driven, completely serious, stubbornly mechanical, ridiculously coordinated and completely obsessed with all things block, book and ball. She is her sister's extreme opposite and for now, they like each other. This is their story.
