| Introduction | was released in draft form on February 17, 2010. Public comments were received through March 19, 2010 and a final draft is now under preparation. The CWPP reflects a comprehensive update to the the previous Cal−Fire Unit Plan ( San Mateo-Santa Cruz Fire Plan). Coordination of CWPP development was conducted by a Steering Committee consisting of the Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County (RCDSCC), San Mateo Resource Conservation District (SMCRCD), CAL FIRE and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. A Stakeholder Advisory Committee, along with diverse public input, also helped guide the process of CWPP development.
