| Introduction | Hi! I'm starting this blog because I need self-regulation, support and motivation from the outside world in my new homeschooling journey. I need systematic reflexion on how we're doing. I am not sure if I need the audience for now. Make yoursefl at home here, though, and contact me if you feel like it. I made this decision to homeschool my children (6,4 and 2 y.o.) partly because of Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on state school restrictions, but the idea has been working in me for a few years now. Why "hotchpodge"? Because I didn't want to use neither a negative overtone of "mishmash" (according to Cambridge Dictionary) nor British hotchpotch nor American hodgepodge, as we're based in Poland. Why am I writing this blog in English? Because, again, I need to use it not to loose it. I am an English teacher, but I don't feel confident in this profession any more. I've been quite a home-based momma in a Polish speaking family, with minimal everyday contact with English. I try to help myself in the proces of gaining the confidence as an English teacher again.
