| Introduction | I was raised Christian. That was ok, actually. Then I got into witchcraft. I really liked that, so I studied and practiced a lot and thought that some day I would write and teach about witchcraft. Then I had a crisis of – well, not faith, exactly, because I've always been pretty focused on praxis. A crisis of giving a damn? (Oh, the irony.) Still, I'm passionately interested in spirituality, especially the spirituality of liminal spaces, where everything is all strange and fuzzy and hard to pin down. Perhaps not coincidentally, I'm also deeply intrigued by the politics of otherness. Hi, I'm Laura. I like to read and think and write, and draw. I draw a lot, when I have time, which is actually not all that often because I have kids and they don't go to school. Sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing with my life. I write about that here. |
