About me

Introduction	This summer I will be riding my bicycle from San Francisco to Washington, Dc to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities. Push America, the charity I am supporting, has a goal of teaching people about the abilities of people with disabilities. Journey of Hope is a cross country cycling event in which 80 men ride 4,000 miles across the country. Each year Journey of Hope raises over $500,000 to benefit people with disabilities. Additionally, after riding for an average of 75 miles per day, the team members participate in community outreach events in each town in which we stop. These activities include playing wheelchair basketball, putting on informational puppet shows, attending barbecues, and other activities that support and raise awareness for people with disabilities.
