Introduction	Shirley Bloethe has been an entrepreneur since she was a young girl, always sellling lots of cookies for her Girl Scout troop.....She is the owener of 5 businesses,and is a member of Central Connecticut Women’s Forum for 17 years, and she is the current president of the organization. She graduated from Hartford College for Women's Entrepreneurial Course in November 1987. She is the owner of Pass It On (Sports)Kayaks & Jitters Cafe, Heaven On Earth Bookstore and A Day Spa all located at 1273 Queen Street in Southington, CT. She also owns H.P Kayak & Boat Rentals in South Glastonbury, CT. She is the single mother of three grown children, Hunter, Stacy and Crystal. She is the former Public Outreach Co-coordinator for a support group in the local area, and the recipient of an award by the SBA and has spoken for women's events and state sponsored SBA self-employment workshops. Shirley also helps families and businesses with Pre-Paid Legal Plans. Shirley’s favorite things to do are spending time with her man Dave, hanging our with her kids, family, dog (Zuzu) and her friends as well as boating, kayaking, skiing, travel and reading.
