| Introduction | Welcome to Principles of Principals. Here you'll find plain faced, common sense leadership ideals that ensure sustainable success. Dr. J is a 22 year educator, coach, consultant, district administrator, and purveyor of disruptive thinking. He's responsible for hiring and cultivating two Arizona Teachers of the Year, turning around Persistently Low Achieving Schools, and transforming school cultures. Jarret is the host of Education Underground, a podcast that explores all things education, some things underground. Dr. J has lobbied legislators in Arizona and Washington D. C. around school choice and school safety. He is an ardent Outward Mindset student, and is also trained to deliver this transformational curriculum to organizations. A father of 5, and Papa to two grandchildren, he enjoys fly fishing, writing, watercolor painting, trail runs, and terrific food. |
