| Introduction | Karen Tucker, has sung in New York, Germany and Austria and has performed several operatic roles, as well as a variety of solo work. Most recently Ms. Tucker sang the role of Soprano in the premier of Requiem Op. 120 by James Myers in March of 2009, competed in the Liederkranz International Wagner Competition in New York City in Jan 2009 and Jan 2010 and was selected to perform in the Boulder Music Institute Concert in July 2014. Karen has studied with world renowned teachers David Jones in New York City and International Opera Star Carol Kirkpatrick. She has also worked with famous coaches in New York City and Europe. Following her successful Opera Audition Tour of Germany and Austria in the autumn of 2007, she is learning the full role of Brünnhilde from Wagner’s Ring Cycle, as requested by several German agents, and plans to return to Europe for another audition tour in the autumn of 2015. She continues to prepare for future roles, auditions and performance opportunities. |
