Introduction	Hard to believe that I am here..a blog about adoption, and not my own as adoptee over forty years ago but the process in place today for me to adopt a newborn from somewhere in the United States, preferably through "open adoption." I came "out" to my family and friends as a thinker in 2003 (age 39) and now I am ready to talk about the "trying" stage. Very excited and grateful for all the support I have received. Many of you have asked where I am in the process or my thoughts at various points so voila, why not blog it? If I plan to have a baby in the 21st century, I guess I need to be a 21st century mom. I welcome all your thoughts, links, recommended books, resources, etc. And to my mom and dad,and dear friends - thank you, more than you will ever know, for your support and love. UPDATE: As of 7/14/2008, Ethan Oliver and birthmom came into my life. See July 2008 Posts.
