Favorite Books | Eclectic. I enjoy how some authors lead to other authors. Amor Towles' RULES OF CIVILITY & A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW led me back to Scott Fitzgerald. Past: Elizabeth Gilbert's SIGNATURE OF ALL THINGS is truly fine--rich and compelling. I really enjoyed Arthur Phillips' THE EGYPTOLOGIST. Conrad, Poe, & many classics but esp. MOBY DICK. Recent: Philip Roth, Ian McEwan, Kate Atkinson, Elmore Leonard. |
