Introduction My work notes aspects of our disconnection to those things that we hope most to connect to: Community, Spirituality, and Self. While we strive to understand and connect to these things in our own lives, we are nonetheless bound by sociological archetypes, creating barriers where there need not be any. I strive to examine the communal self when compared with the solitary spiritual self by examining how we relate to images of ourselves and others. I was formally trained in a ministerial college in Knoxville, TN in which I received a degree only to question the limitations of organized faith and to discover the limitlessness of art in early 2002. I founded the Visual Revolution Art Collective in 2003 in both Ohio and Boston, MA. I chose to relocate to Portland, OR in 2005 from my hometown of Columbus, OH. I am a self taught artist and have exhibited and organized many shows nationally. I have also shown internationally, including an exhibition in Paris in 2007 coupled with an interview on Oui Radio.
Interests Art, and more art. Whether it's organizing, curating, or creating- I'm there. Currently, I'm an artist resident at Milepost 5, and a painter, a photographer, curator, arts organizer, and founder of the Foster Art Walk in Portland, OR. *Also, the images embedded on my blog site are some of my photography that I took in Alaska in 2007!
