| Introduction | I was born in Christchurch, New Zealand to Bangladeshi parents. My childhood years were spent in Dhaka, the bustling capital of Bangladesh and my teenage years in the Midwest of United States. I came back to New Zealand as a teenager, went to Canterbury University and did a BA(Hons)/LLB and was admitted in 2010 as a Barrister and Solicitor. I identify myself as a straight feminist who cares deeply about equal rights, a confused Muslim, a leftish long black drinking Wellingtonian in exile, a keeper of many secrets and an idealist. |
