Introduction Potty about Patterns came into existence as a more hands-on extension of my professional life as an architect. My passion for colour, pattern and materials combined with an attention to detail has found an outlet in a variety of hand-made items, ranging from bags and cushions to stationary and paper art and anything else I can construct at my dining table overlooking the saltmarsh. Most of my crafted items can be clearly identified as originating from the East Anglian coast. They take reference from the local wildlife and traditional pursuits such as sailing, fishing and hunting. As my production methods are at this stage very simple (the hand-operated Singer sewing machine is one of my most treasured tools), I can guarantee individual and unique pieces finished to a very high standard.
