| Introduction | Sewing, painting, photography, music, books and beautiful objects have always been part of my family life. Creating has always been encouraged. In 2006 I moved to an island off Tasmania. This island offers a wonderful combination of rural/seaside, an incredible range of people (many artistic) and beautiful scenery every where you turn. Since late 2010 I have become an island myself. Chronic illness has made me housebound and I have had to give up many of those things I took for granted for so long - especially independence. But with this experience comes a new knowledge and appreciation of life and, when well enough, the possibility to have some creative moments. |
