Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

Flexibility. I'm irrationally jealous of those girls at the Yoga Tree who stand on one leg, clasping the other foot behind their head. They're like a bizarre flock of serene egrets doing an unnatural dance. I love them.
