| Introduction | An affirmative action is needed in order to preserve the peaceful and harmony in such diverse society like in Indonesia; religion diversity holds significant influences in maintaining harmony. Regarding this urgency, The Malang Interfaith Community (MICO) is established in Malang, intended to be the media or forum for some parties (religion based organizations) in order to promote the importance of postmodern life and mindset within the diverse society, especially in vast developing area like in Malang. This project focuses on the scholars and/or campuses in Malang and using socio-academic approach in conducting the dialogue within those parties. This project was at first established by some alumni of American sponsored program, named Indonesian Youth Alumni (KAMI) in collaboration with students’ governments and volunteers of campuses in Malang. We are embracing the scholars to search the common ground within the diversity. Within these months, the MICO expects more contributions from society, especially from the varsity students.
