Introduction	I’m a data guy! I'm passionate about the smart use of data, having been an advocate and supporter of all things data and analytics for decades. I've spent more years than I’m game to count happily consulting, designing and building solutions in and around data.I’m grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to drive top-line growth and business efficiency through the creative use of data across many industry verticals. I’ve worked with, and had the pleasure of leading, awesome teams in business intelligence, data governance, data science and even business areas, like marketing and digital, that rely heavily on data to win. I've been lucky enough to hold analytic and data-centric senior management, architect and other lead roles on projects across four continents working both as a consultant and within. Now I’m actively looking to give back to the data and analytics community not just by sharing knowledge and experience, but also by actively promoting discussion and collaboration across our profession. These days I keep busy as the Head of Data for an Australian bank, mentoring start-up founders, as well as holding an advisory board seat for an infrastructure services provider.
