| Introduction | I am a former Bank Manager who currently stays at home with my 7 and 10 year old children. I substitute teach when needed by our district. Our family has decided to join the compact for 2012 and will be working on not buying anything new for the entire year. We have exceptions, but the list is short and adding new exceptions will require a conversation with our other half and that alone will remove 80% of our purchases. I am also working on organizing my home with things I already have. |
