Introduction	Politically speaking I am a Democrat. I’ve lived in Texas all of my life and the only governor I’ve ever cared for was Ann Richards. I don’t generally keep up with Texas politics since everything seems to be run by good ol boys and big money lobbyist. I am taking this class to fill my core requirements however; I hope to gain a better understanding of our state government and of any abilities I have within my power to change the status quo.
