| Introduction | I think, therefore I am. It's the only quote I can think of that has to do with thinking. I think. I also feel. I'm kind of just your standard human being, yet there might, just might, be something special about me. I like to use three "I" adjectives to describe myself - intelligent, intuitive, and introspective. When writing my interests, I realized how very vague and general they were, so let me elaborate. I like to write out my thoughts. I like to feel my feelings, express them in whatever way possible. I keep a pretty heavy journal. Recent books I've enjoyed include The Zen of Motorcycle maintenance, the Homework Myth, the Omnivore's Dilemma, and any book on Non-Violent Communication and meditation. I guess you could say I'm a peace loving individual who's been around a lot of violence growing up, which has been, for the most part, internalized. This summer, I will be riding my bike across the country with a friend. After that, I will be working at a organic farm as part of a Jewish farming fellowship. There's more, but that comes with getting to know me. I generally am afraid to get to know people though - I've been disappointed a lot in the past, with myself and others. |
