Introduction	Me & My City… I’m a thirty something girl from Milwaukee Wisconsin, home of Harley-Davidson Motor Cycles & Miller Brewing Company. Milwaukee is also home to Bead Style & Bead & Button Magazines, Kalmbach Publishing. Every summer they host the largest consumer bead show in the United States. Vendors come from all over the world to show their beautiful gems, silver & many other items. Needless to say I spent a fortune there every year. My Art & Education… I have always been drawn to visual art. My first love was 2D projects mainly drawing and watercolors. Then I fell in love with making pottery and firing techniques. I studied fine arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York, as well as Alverno College here in Milwaukee. My major was Art Education & Art Therapy., a triple major Art, Education and Psychology. About five years ago I discovered beads & jewelry making, that led to some wire work and my current fascination is metal-smithing using copper, sterling silver and fine silver. I will post some of my metal work soon.
